Infrastructure work and facilities represent the heart of the prevention activities carried out by the ASAs and departmental DFCIs. They are key to the operational efficiency as well as intervention speed and water sourcing needed for active control.

In order to guarantee effective prevention, DFCI carries out work over the entire forest, aiming to keep the trail and ditch system consistent and continuous, regardless of property status.
